Now on Steam:

Wellspring

Fort Wellspring is under relentless assault—can you survive?

Wellspring is a fast-paced wave survival game where hordes of enemies attack from multiple directions. Fight with sword and skill, unleash devastating haymakers, or activate your ultimate to wipe out the waves. As you progress, enemies grow stronger and special types bring unique challenges. Unlock powerful modifiers to tailor your abilities and adapt your strategy. Can you make it through all 40 rounds?

My first commercial game! This taught me so much about the process as a whole. I especially learned a lot about save data, UI, polish and game feel. It was also my first exposure to the Steam ecosystem as a developer, and the learning experience was priceless.

Game 3:

Earthfarer

Under the earth, where no true light has shown, a civilization languishes in the dark. Will you be the one to ignite the fires and bring the light of the fire to these people?

Veilshred Studio’s 2nd game jam game. This one was an entry into CGDC Speedgame: Classic 2026, the 20th Anniversary of the roughly monthlong jam. Earthfarer was inspired by Isaiah 9:2, one of the three topic verses. Making this game stretched my capabilities in the areas of level and sound design, taught me about platforming mechanics (coyote time, jump and movement tuning), and helped improve my workflow efficiency and speed. The game placed 15th out of 18 submissions (ouch!). Seems like I’ve still got a lot to learn about finding the fun!

Game 2:

Pathforger

Welcome to Pathforger, where the path to success is yours to create. Navigate the world by placing blocks that lead you to the targets. Balance the chaos of fending off enemies while the floor you create falls out from under you. How far will you forge ahead?

My first game jam game. This one was actually made after Wellspring was complete, but before it released on Steam. It was my entry into CGDC Speedgame: Hardmode 2026, a 72 hour jam that we managed to put 12 hours into on a busy weekend. The game placed 10th out of 13 submissions (4th most fun!) and showed me I had a long way to go as a developer!

First Game Ever:

The Last Stand

In a war-torn city, a valiant last stand holds out for victory. Maximize your firepower by running through the blue fields and avoiding the red ones. Defeat increasingly strong and quick tanks and take a stand for your people!

Inspired by those dastardly mobile game ads that never actually show you real gameplay, this project aimed to deliver what the false advertising couldn’t. It was the first time I saw a project and thought to myself, “I can make that”. I then proceeded to learn just how hard it was to make games, and fell deeper in love with the art form.
